CJ Spray, Inc (based in St. Paul, MN), an industry leading distributor in equipment to spray, meter, and mix materials has announced the acquisition of The Paint Project, LLC based in Boston, MA.

Established in 1984 The Paint Project is recognized as the premier equipment distributor for industrial paint finishing systems and contractor spray equipment in the Northeast. They represent industry leading brands such as Graco, Gema, Titan, and RTT.

“We are excited to announce this strategic acquisition as it will help us support our strong contractor presence in the Northeast and will expand The Paint Project’s product offering to their customer base,” stated Chris Bryntesen, President/CEO CJ Spray. “In addition, we welcome their vast experience and knowledge in the industrial finishing industry and will utilize that in our Minnesota operations. We welcome Bob Zaffino and his team to the CJ Spray family.”

The Paint Project will continue to operate from their current headquarters in Medfield, MA with their existing management team.
