Account Manager, Outside Technical Sales - Industrial Finishing

Direct sales to customers within the Industrial Products Division


  • Identify, contact, and convert potential customers
  • Identify and qualify large projects. Work with engineering and management on closing sales, training, and start- up
  • Create relationships, maintain accounts, and work to achieve sales goals
  • Increase sales per customer by offering full product offering
  • Utilize ERP and CRM system to enter orders, quotes, opportunities, customers, prospects, and contacts
  • Identify and communicate to management any market trends, and opportunities in the field
  • Work with sales team, management, and marketing to develop and execute strategic objectives
  • Learn equipment and be a technical resource for customers
  • Map sales routes can call on accounts within territory

Minnesota & New England



  • 6+ years’ experience and successful track record with customer-facing responsibilities
  • 3+ years selling industrial paint or powder, or in running an industrial painting operation
  • Industrial sales experience a plus
  • Ability to communicate professionally via email
  • Strategic thinker
  • Communicate well with customers, vendors, and coworkers
  • Strong knowledge of industrial paint/powder and the industrial painting process
  • Demonstrated project management skills a plus


Full Time Position.

Salary Range: $80,000-$165,000 (based on experience)
